Volunteer as an Assembly Steward

Do you want to experience an intensive, intentional community this summer? Are you excited to meet delegates of more than 100 student movements from around the world? Do you want to support the global student movement, serving and praying with other students?

Canadian & US students are invited to be a part of the General Assembly as stewards. Join with like-minded students in an exciting international atmosphere to show hospitality to the global SCM network and make the Assembly tick. Contact us for more info on volunteering.

The Stewards Program, hosted by the Student Christian Movement of Canada, is an opportunity to explore more deeply the General Assembly theme, Your Sons & Daughters Shall Prophecy, by examining our place in Empire (our socio-economic-cultural global system) and how Christian faith can face the powers and principalities in our world today.

It is an intensive 3-week live-in program. It will cost you nothing to attend, but requires full participation during the time, hosting the GA and building community with the other Stewards.

Registration begins after SCM National Conference around mid-May 2008.
